Multi-chain Deposit

Deposit from any major chain in one step and start trading instantly.

Overview

WaterX lets you deposit stablecoins directly from Ethereum, Arbitrum, or Sui — no need to bridge funds to Sui first, and no need to hold a Sui-native stablecoin.

Whatever supported stablecoin you deposit is credited 1:1 as a unified USD balance inside your WaterX account, used as the single balance for trading, providing liquidity, and settlement. Technically, this unified balance is implemented as WaterX USD — see Unified Liquidity & WaterX USD.

Cross-chain deposits convert at a fixed 1:1 rate — no slippage, no conversion loss. Send 100 USDT on the source chain and your WaterX account receives 100 USD.

How to Deposit

  1. Click Deposit to open the deposit window

  2. Select the source chain (Sui / Ethereum / Arbitrum)

  3. Select the asset (USDC or USDT; on Sui, USDC or USDsui)

  4. Enter an amount and confirm the transaction

  5. Sign on the source chain

Sui deposits: Near-instant, subject to Sui finality.

Ethereum / Arbitrum deposits: Processed through WaterX's cross-chain messaging layer (see below). Once the source-chain transaction is confirmed, an equal USD balance is minted to your WaterX account.

Cross-chain deposits wait for source-chain block confirmations; arrival time depends on that chain. Once complete, the balance appears directly in your Account Balance.

Always Use the Deposit Flow for Other Chains

Cross-Chain Security

WaterX's cross-chain messaging layer is built on Wormhole's Core Bridge infrastructure, inheriting its decentralized verification model secured by 19 Guardians. On top of this, WaterX controls the USD-balance minting logic itself and adds protocol-level real-time monitoring (see the NAV monitoring section in Unified Liquidity & WaterX USD).
