Account system

WaterX's account model and how to deposit and withdraw funds.

Connection Methods

Sui wallets: Supports Slush Wallet, OKX wallet and other Sui-compatible wallets.

zkLogin (recommended for newcomers): Click Login with Google to sign in. The system automatically generates a Sui address — no wallet installation, no seed phrase, no private key management. The same Google account recovers the same account on any device.

WaterX Trading Account

WaterX uses an on-chain account model. After connecting, you need to create a WaterX Account before you can trade.

Once created, all trades and positions are tied to this account. Your Account Balance is the funds available for trading.

Sub-accounts(Coming soon)

You can create multiple sub-accounts under your main account. Each sub-account has its own independent balance and positions. Use cases include:

• Separating trading strategies (e.g. one for BTC, one for xStock)

• Giving AI agents or automation programs their own isolated account

Delegate Key(Coming soon)

Each sub-account can be assigned a delegate key that restricts which operations it can perform.

This is especially important for agent trading — you can authorize a delegate key to only open and close positions, but not withdraw funds. Even if the key is compromised, your funds remain safe.

Configurable operations include: open position, close position, place order, cancel order, adjust margin, transfer, withdraw, and more — each can be toggled independently.

If you use AI agents for automated trading, create a dedicated sub-account with a delegate key. Restrict the scope and disable withdrawal permissions.

Deposits

Deposit funds into your WaterX Trading Account to start trading.

How to deposit:

1. From your connected wallet: Click Deposit → select token → enter amount → confirm

2. From an external source: Click Deposit → copy your WaterX Account address → transfer from any wallet or exchange

USDC and USDsui are used as trading margin (denominated in USD). SUI is used for gas fees (needed when the sponsor service is unavailable).

Withdrawals

Withdraw from your WaterX Account to your wallet.

Sponsored Transactions

At launch, WaterX sponsors all transaction gas fees. You don't need to hold SUI to:

• Create an account

• Deposit / withdraw

• Open / close positions

• Set SL / TP

As long as you have USDC or USDsui in your Account, you can trade frictionlessly.

If the sponsor backend is temporarily unavailable, you will need to pay Sui gas fees yourself. Keep a small amount of SUI (< 0.1 SUI is sufficient) in your account as a backup.

Isolated Margin

WaterX uses isolated margin mode. Each position's margin is calculated independently and does not affect other positions.

This means:

• A liquidation on one position does not impact your other positions or account balance

• Each position's margin ratio is based on that position's collateral, not the overall account

Connect via wallet or zkLogin (Google sign-in). Account creation is free, deposits are instant, and gas is zero at launch. Each wallet can create multiple sub-accounts with delegate keys for secure agent trading.
